The BLR-299 is the compact single-arm skull-mounted fixation base for the Yasargil system. Where the BLR-298 provides two arm attachment points, the BLR-299 accepts a single flexible arm, creating the smallest and most compact Yasargil configuration. This is ideal for procedures where only one retraction point is needed but the absolute positional stability of skull-mounting is preferred over table-mounted alternatives.
Sold as the base alone — attach with BLR-296 flexible arm and BLR-292 or BLR-293 spatula support to complete the assembly.
Single-point brain retraction in craniotomy procedures where skull-mounted stability is required but only one spatula is needed. Commonly used in aneurysm and tumour surgery where the operative corridor requires only one directed retraction.
