Fixed swivel adapter for the B Martin Mayfield head rest system. Provides a rigid, non-rotating connection between the base unit and skull clamp, ideal for supine and prone procedures where a fixed-axis head position is required.
The BM-HR-103 Fixed Swivel Adapter is the rigid-connection counterpart to the BM-HR-102 rotatable adapter. It provides a firm, non-rotating link between the BM-HR-101 base unit and the BM-HR-104 skull clamp, delivering maximum structural rigidity for procedures where the head is positioned in a fixed axial orientation — most commonly supine for frontal and bifrontal craniotomies, or prone for posterior midline and cervical spine procedures. The fixed design eliminates any potential for rotational play in the connection, which some surgeons prefer for its absolute positional certainty. The adapter is compact and lightweight, minimising the overall profile of the head rest assembly at the table attachment point. CNC-machined from surgical-grade steel with controlled hardening.
