The BM-HR-105 Adult Skull Pins are the consumable fixation elements of the B Martin Mayfield skull clamp system. Each pack contains 3 pins — sufficient for a complete 3-point fixation setup. The pins are precision-ground from high-strength stainless steel to ensure consistent tip geometry and controlled penetration depth into the adult cranial cortex, preventing over-penetration while achieving firm, slip-free fixation. Unlike single-use pins, the BM-HR-105 pins are designed for reuse after appropriate cleaning, inspection, and resterilisation, reducing consumable costs over the life of the system. Each pin should be inspected before use for tip integrity — any pin with a blunted, bent, or damaged tip should be replaced. The pins thread directly into the BM-HR-104 skull clamp pin holders and are compatible with all B Martin Mayfield Head Rest System configurations.
