Yasargil Brain Retractor – Flexible Arm (BLR-296)
Flexible arm for the B Martin Yasargil brain retractor system. Braided stainless steel construction allows the arm to be shaped to any path; a locking knob then fixes it rigidly in that position. Sold individually for system expansion or replacement.
The BLR-296 Flexible Arm is the core working element of the Yasargil brain retractor system. The braided stainless steel construction allows the arm to be bent and shaped along any three-dimensional path from the fixation base to the spatula tip, navigating around the craniotomy edge, dural folds, and cortical surface to deliver the spatula precisely where it is needed. A single locking knob tightens the entire arm simultaneously, fixing it in the set position with no creep or drift during surgery.
Sold individually, the BLR-296 allows existing Yasargil setups to be expanded with additional arms, or replaces worn arms without purchasing a complete new system. Compatible with all B Martin Yasargil fixation bases and spatula supports.
Replacement or additional arm for any Yasargil brain retractor configuration. Used in all craniotomy procedures requiring flexible, lockable brain spatula support.
