Support for flat brain spatula for the B Martin Leyla brain retractor system. Attaches to the end of any Leyla flexible arm and accepts standard flat brain spatulas, locking them at the precise angle required for hands-free cortical retraction.
The BLR-292 Support for Flat Brain Spatula is the terminal component of each Leyla flexible arm, forming the connection between the flexible arm and the brain spatula itself. The support clamps onto the flexible arm end and holds the flat spatula firmly at the angle set by the surgeon, maintaining that position without drift throughout the procedure.
The flat spatula support is the most commonly used terminal fitting in the Leyla system, compatible with the standard range of flat brain spatulas used in supratentorial neurosurgery. It allows quick spatula exchange between different widths without dismantling the arm or flexible arm assembly. Sold individually for replacement or to expand an existing system.
