Omni Track Abdominal Retractor – Harrington Blade (BMO-145)
Harrington retractor blade (2½ x 6″) for the B Martin Omni Track single post abdominal retractor system. The classic Harrington heart-shaped profile provides broad, stable retraction of the liver and other abdominal organs with minimal trauma to organ capsules.
The Harrington retractor blade is widely recognised by its distinctive heart-shaped or S-curved profile at the blade tip, which distributes retraction force across the organ surface and reduces the risk of capsular injury during sustained retraction. It is the instrument of choice for liver retraction in upper abdominal procedures such as cholecystectomy, oesophageal, and gastric surgery. The B Martin Omni Track Harrington blade (BMO-145) measures 2½ x 6″ and is rod-mounted for direct compatibility with all BES-110 blade joints. CNC-machined from surgical stainless steel with a highly polished surface to minimise tissue adherence.
Applications & Clinical Uses
Liver retraction in cholecystectomy, hepatobiliary surgery, oesophageal and gastric procedures. Also used for spleen and other solid organ retraction during upper abdominal open surgery.
