Omni Track Abdominal Retractor – Malleable Slotted Blade (BMO-141 to BMO-142)

The malleable slotted retractor blade can be bent to conform precisely to the contours of the wound and underlying organs, making it highly adaptable to irregular or curved incision profiles. The longitudinal slots reduce the overall surface area in contact with tissue and allow wound fluids and irrigation to drain freely, reducing pooling and improving visibility in the operative field. B Martin Omni Track malleable slotted blades (BMO-141 and BMO-142) are available in 2″ x 6½” and 3″ x 6½” widths. They retain their set shape during use and can be reshaped as needed. Compatible with the BES-110 blade joint system and manufactured from malleable surgical stainless steel.

Applications & Clinical Uses

Complex or irregular wound geometries in open abdominal surgery. Useful when standard rigid blades cannot achieve the required angle or contour. Drainage slots make it suitable for procedures with significant fluid or irrigation in the wound.
