The Splanchnic retractor blade features a wide, gently curved body designed to retract loops of bowel and other visceral organs with minimal risk of serosal injury. The broad contact surface distributes force evenly, preventing localised pressure that could cause bruising or perforation of delicate bowel wall. Available in three sizes — BMO-148 (2 x 6″), BMO-149 (2½ x 7″), and BMO-150 (3 x 6″) — the range covers different operative field sizes and bowel diameters. All blades are rod-mounted for BES-110 joint compatibility and CNC-machined from polished surgical stainless steel.
Applications & Clinical Uses
Bowel retraction in colorectal, small bowel, and abdominal surgery. Visceral retraction in gynaecological and urological procedures. Preferred where bowel or other fragile visceral structures require sustained, atraumatic displacement.
