The Renal retractor blade is a narrow, elongated blade designed for the confined spaces encountered in renal and retroperitoneal surgery. At a consistent 1″ width and available in four lengths — 5″, 6″, 7″, and 8″ — the BMO-156 to BMO-159 range provides the reach and narrow profile required to access structures alongside the kidney, ureter, and retroperitoneal vessels without crowding the operative field. The elongated form allows deep penetration without the blade tip losing contact with the target tissue, while the narrow width reduces interference with adjacent instruments. Rod-mounted for BES-110 joint compatibility.
Applications & Clinical Uses
Open nephrectomy, ureterolithotomy, adrenalectomy, and retroperitoneal dissection. Flank and loin incision retraction where narrow-profile instruments are required for access alongside the kidney and great vessels.
