Omni Track Abdominal Retractor – Non-Slotted Malleable Blade (BES-176 to BES-190)

The non-slotted malleable blade offers the full flexibility of a shapeable retractor without the drainage channels of the slotted variant, providing a continuous solid surface that maximises tissue contact and retraction force per unit width. This is the preferred choice where fluid drainage through the blade is not required and a consistent, solid retraction surface is beneficial. B Martin offers the largest range of non-slotted malleable blades in the Omni Track system, with 15 sizes from 1″ x 6″ through to 3″ x 8″ — covering virtually every abdominal field dimension encountered in open surgery. All sizes are compatible with the BES-110 blade joint.

Applications & Clinical Uses

General open abdominal surgery, gynaecological, colorectal, and urological procedures. Preferred over slotted variants when a solid retraction surface is required and wound fluid management through the blade is not needed.
