Omni Track Abdominal Retractor – Non-Slotted Protected Blade (BES-191 to BES-205)
Non-slotted protected retractor blades in 15 sizes (1 x 6″ to 3 x 8″) for the B Martin Omni Track single post abdominal retractor system. The protected tip design reduces the risk of injury to adjacent tissue and organs at the blade tip during insertion and retraction.
The Non-Slotted Protected blade incorporates a rounded or protected tip that significantly reduces the risk of inadvertent injury to adjacent organs, vessels, or bowel during blade insertion and repositioning. This makes it the preferred choice in operative fields where fragile structures are in close proximity to the blade path. Identical in size range to the non-slotted malleable series, BES-191 to BES-205 offer 15 sizes from 1″ x 6″ to 3″ x 8″, ensuring the full Omni Track system can be configured with protected blades wherever patient safety demands it. All sizes are compatible with the BES-110 blade joint.
Applications & Clinical Uses
Any open abdominal procedure where adjacent bowel, vessels, or fragile structures are at risk during blade insertion. Recommended for revisional surgery, adhesiolysis, and procedures near the aorta, inferior vena cava, or urinary tract.
