Omni Track Abdominal Retractor – Finger Malleable Blade (BMO-171)
Finger malleable retractor blade (3½ x 6″) for the B Martin Omni Track single post abdominal retractor system. Individual malleable fingers can be shaped independently to conform to complex wound and organ contours for truly customised retraction.
The BMO-171 Finger Malleable blade features multiple independently shapeable fingers extending from a common rod mount, allowing each finger to be individually bent and positioned to conform to the precise contours of the wound and adjacent structures. This provides a level of customisation impossible with a single-piece blade, making it invaluable in complex operative fields with irregular anatomy or multiple adjacent structures requiring simultaneous retraction. At 3½ x 6″, this blade offers a wide footprint with the flexibility of a malleable instrument. It is compatible with the BES-110 blade joint and manufactured from malleable surgical stainless steel that holds its set shape during use.
Applications & Clinical Uses
Complex abdominal cases with irregular anatomy, multiple adjacent organs, or unusual wound geometry. Useful in revisional surgery, oncological resections, and any procedure where a standard rigid blade profile cannot achieve the required retraction geometry.
