Omni Track Abdominal Retractor – Connecting Cross Bar Joint (BES-109)
Lower abdominal connecting cross bar joint for the B Martin Omni Track single post retractor system. Securely clamps the BMO-105 connecting cross bar to the wishbone ring, extending the retractor frame to the lower abdominal wound margin.
The BES-109 Connecting Cross Bar Joint is the clamping mechanism that connects the BMO-105 Lower Abdominal Connecting Cross Bar to the Omni Track wishbone ring. The joint uses a secure screw-clamp action to fix the cross bar at the required position and angle on the wishbone, completing the lower section of the retractor frame and providing attachment points for additional blade joints at the inferior wound margin. By locking the cross bar rigidly to the wishbone, the BES-109 ensures that the lower frame section does not shift during surgery even under sustained retraction loads. It is fully compatible with the wishbone bar (BMO-102), the connecting cross bar (BMO-105), and all BES-110 blade joints. CNC-machined from surgical stainless steel.
Applications & Clinical Uses
Required for all Omni Track configurations that include the lower connecting cross bar. Used in lower abdominal and pelvic surgery, colorectal and gynaecological procedures requiring retraction at both upper and lower wound margins.
