Metzenbaum-Fino Scissors (B-76 to B-87)

The Metzenbaum-Fino scissors (B-76 to B-87) are fine-tissue dissecting instruments that combine the classic Metzenbaum long-handle, short-blade design with precision-ground Fino blades for exceptionally clean cuts through delicate tissue planes. The extended shank keeps the surgeon’s hand well clear of the operative field, improving visibility and control at the blade tip. The straight pattern (B-76 to B-81) is preferred for direct dissection in superficial to moderately deep fields, while the curved pattern (B-82 to B-87) allows the surgeon to follow natural tissue planes, separate adhesions, and work around vessels and nerves with minimal trauma. With six sizes from 12.5 cm to 25 cm in each pattern, this range covers everything from short-access plastic surgery to deep abdominal and thoracic dissection. Each instrument is individually calibrated for smooth, uniform scissor action and manufactured from high-grade stainless steel for long autoclave service life.
