BP Handle B-6 – Scalpel Handle No. 7 (Alternate Pattern)
The B Martin BP Handle B-6 is an alternate No. 7 scalpel handle — the long, slender, pen-grip pattern used in cardiovascular, plastic, hand, and deep-cavity surgery. It complements the B-5 in the Scalpel Handles range and gives the surgeon a second No. 7 profile to choose from on the tray.
The B-6 carries the defining No. 7 features — long slim body, tapering blade end, and the standard No. 3 slip-lock blade fitting — delivering the balance and pen-grip feel needed for precision work at depth. It accepts the same #10-series blades as the No. 3 and No. 3L (#10, #11, #12, #15 and related), making the #11 pointed and #15 curved blades the typical choices for this handle. Made from surgical-grade stainless steel and satin-finished for a non-reflective OT-light appearance, the B-6 is fully autoclavable and designed for long reusable service.
Applications & Clinical Uses
