The blades are ground to a fine, sharp point with a matched cutting edge that divides epineurium and perineural tissue cleanly in a single deliberate cut. The B-33 straight pattern is used for direct, precise cuts along nerve trunks and at nerve stumps during repair and grafting; the B-34 curved pattern allows the surgeon to approach from angles that keep the handle out of the microscope field. Both instruments are satin-finished in surgical-grade stainless steel and individually inspected for sharpness and pivot tension before dispatch.
